Visons of Frisco by Satty

Satty (Wilfried Podriech - 1939 - 1982) was an inventive and well known collage and poster artist in San Francisco in the 1960s and 70s. He emigrated to California from Germany in 1961and lived in North Beach. Satty's interest in San Francisco was expressed in a manuscript consisting of elaborate collages of historical events in San Francisco and was unpublished at his untimely death in 1982. Hi friend and executor Walter Mederios edited the manuscript and published the same in 2007. 245 pages, large format (12 x 9), paperback. The hard cover edition of the book was quickly sold out.
