Oddly Etched Photo of Claudette Colbert and Drawing

Purchased in LA. I don't know what the technique is that was used to created the cross hatching throughout the image, but it is very interesting. The subject has been identified as the young actress Claudette Colbert Measures 5.5 x 8 and is in fine condition.
